This performance video series explores the embodiment and characterization of different legendary figures for a feminist revision of regional mythologies.

By using reenactment and spontaneous intervention, the performance work takes place in the actual habitat of forgotten mythological figures. The SUV – as a mystified object of independence – is thereby both; modern shelter and anonymous danger, polarizing with conditioned anxieties of female connoted bodies in dark forests.
